Château Sociando Mallet Château Sociando-Mallet makes concentrated, deliciously balanced wines that equal many classified growths in quality. It has an excellent reputation among French wine lovers, who appreciate its undeniable finesse. Flavors are full-bodied and complex, with pronounced cassis and raspberry fruit; in the nose, notes of spicy, smoky, noble oak and vanilla mingle with the red fruit. It is much appreciated for its excellent aging quality and typically develops gracefully for 10-25 years after the vintage. Wine Spectator Aromas of currant and leaves. Medium- to full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a caressing finish. Ends chewy. Best after 2009.
