Château Malartic-Lagraviere Pessac Léognan 2004
Château Malartic-Lagraviere Garnet red color, with hints of purple. Fresh on the nose with spice, roasted coffee, black fruit, cherries and black currants. Good empyreumatic notes. Fresh on the palate, silky and very fruity, developing the same aromas as on the nose. Good tannic presence and overall balance. The long finish shows great potential for the extremely classic vintage. Wine Enthusiast Since the Bonnie family took over this property, it has improved enormously, and still represents good value. This is balanced and fresh, with aromas of eucalyptus and mint, finishing with ripe, sweet fruit. Score: 90. —Roger Voss, June 01, 2007.All sizes are 750mL unless otherwise noted.
