Château Greysac Médoc 2005
Château Greysac Standing on the gravel hummocks of the hamlet of By, Château Greysac has developed immensely in the last thirty years. Its wines are a faithful reflection of this great terroir - delicate, aromatic and ample, as well as elegant and complex. Wine Spectator Has a very pretty nose of Indian spices, currant and Christmas pudding. Full-bodied, with soft tannins and a long, caressing finish. Best after 2011. Score: 89. —James Suckling, 2008.Wine Advocate Space limitations did not allow complete tasting notes for this Cru Bourgeois, but 2005 is the finest vintage for these wines since 1982. The range of scores for these wines should give readers an idea of just how consistent this vintage is at this level. Given the style of the vintage, most of these wines should be accessible young yet evolve for a decade or more because of their concentration and tannic structure. Score: 86-88. —Robert Parker, April 2006.Customers who purchased this item also bought:
