Mulderbosch Chenin Blanc 2008
Mulderbosch Pale yellow in color with a hint of green. On the nose, tinned pineapples, guavas, litchi, lemon and lime aromas are abundant. A clean, lively wine with nuances of nutmeg and cloves. Well-balanced and elegant, but with weight and a powerful follow-through on the palate. Stylistically off-dry and lightly oaked this is an excellent food wine. Wine Spectator Medium-weight, with focused white peach, melon rind and floral notes offset by a hint of dried chamomile flower. Drink now. Score: 88. —James Molesworth, June 30, 2009.Wine Enthusiast Aromas of vanilla, apricot and melon start this white from superstar producer Mulderbosch. Curvy flavors of apricot and citrus give the wine a more opulent edge, but a shot of acid keeps it fresh. Pair with seafood—think crab cakes or lobster—and enjoy the lingering finish. Score: 87. —Susan Kostrzewa, June 01, 2009.Customers who purchased this item also bought:
